With the weather warming up and spring in the air, it’s time for baseball! The New York Yankees and New York Mets have their fans at the end of their seats, especially during the rivalry of the Subway Series. These teams have New Yorkers divided when they play in the subway series.

Author Peg Connery-Boyd, (who is a die-hard Red Sox fan) created these new activity books for children to enjoy, with the help of her nephew Brendan Fitzgerald. These brand new New York Yankees: The Big Book of Activities and New York Mets: The Big Book of Activities editions were just released on April 2, 2016. These books are good for little fans of all ages, primarily children 5-10 years old, but can be enjoyed by all ages.

Both the Yankees and Mets editions have activities that will allow your children to think, learn and have fun all at the same time, while supporting their favorite team. Some of the activities include; connect the dots, word scrambles, find the differences, word searches, mazes, crossword puzzles, and of course pages to color (It wouldn’t be complete without having your child color a picture of CitiField , Mr. Met, Yankee Stadium, or the Yankee logo!).

These books can be purchased at your local bookstores and are also available online at Amazon, Barnes & Noble, Books A Million and Indie Bound.
