October 8/6:05 p.m. Spring Creek Towers (SCT) Department of Public Safety (DPS) observed a male driving his vehicle in the wrong direction in the F Loop of SCT. The individual, a SCT resident, was issued a summons.

October 8/5:55 p.m. SCT resident was observed by DPS driving his vehicle in the wrong direction in the F Loop. He was issued a summons.

October 8/7:45 a.m. Two youth known to DPS were identified as the individuals who caused the breakage of the pizza shop window. The broken glass window was first observed by a DPS officer that morning. The shop’s owner was notified.  With permission, DPS reviewed the shop’s surveillance video and saw how the window was broken. One youth pushed the other against the glass causing it to break. The pair is being charged with Criminal Mischief of Property.

October 6/8:28 a.m. NYPD’s Warrant Squad arrested a male SCT resident of building D3 because he had an Open Warrant for attempted homicide in the 73rd Pct.

October 4/2:48 p.m. While conducting a building check of C2, a DPS officer observed a male on the 13th floor with what appeared to be a marijuana cigarette in his hand. A field test of the cigarette proved it to be the controlled substance. The individual, a SCT resident, was issued a summons for Possession of a Controlled Substance.

October 3/ 4:17 a.m. DPS went to the front of building H1 after receiving a report that a disorderly group was drinking and being loud. Upon arrival, DPS and NYPD saw three males in the driveway who were behaving as reported. NYPD issued summonses to all; two of the individuals are SCT residents.

QUALITY OF LIFE

PROPERTY DAMAGE (surveillance video): 10/4@8:54 a.m., an unidentified male was captured on surveillance video pushing the upper glass panel of the rear lobby door of building F3. His action caused the glass to break; 10/2@12:25 a.m., an unidentified male was captured on surveillance video pushing the upper glass panel of the rear lobby door of building C2. His action caused the glass to break;9/24@5:10 p.m., DPS advised a parent that her son was captured on surveillance video when he caused property damage to the front lobby door’s glass panel at building D1 on 9/1/14. The parent agreed to sign the Management Reimbursement Statement; and, 9/24@12:31 p.m.,DPS advised a parent that her son was captured on surveillance video when he caused property damage to the front lobby door’s glass panel at building H2 on 9/6/14. The parent agreed to sign the Management Reimbursement Statement.

DOG: 10/1@7:45 p.m., DPS issued a summons to a female resident of SCT who seen with a dog at the rear of building B3. The dog did not have a license.

BIKE: 10/1@1:03 p.m., DPS issued a summons to a male resident of SCT who seen riding a bicycle on the sidewalk in the shopping center.

Note: There were no reportable incidents for a 24-hour period on October 12 and 9; September 30, 29, 28, 26 and 25.
