The Starrett City Tenants Association (SCTA) held their Fun Friday night on September 20th. Each month these Fun Friday nights are held for members of the SCTA, so they can kick off the start of the weekend with joyous entertainment.

This Fun Friday had residents playing card games like; Spades, some residents put on their thinking caps and went into serious concentration while they played Scrabble, there was also a group that tried to show off their steady eye and hand coordination in the Hasbro, battery operated game called Operation. Residents enjoyed the sounds of R & B, Jazz, and Latin music and while some residents got up and danced.

In addition to all of the fun, there were also light refreshments for the SCTA members to enjoy. There was a three foot hero, salads, and snacks to accompany the hero and beverages to top the night off.

Come join the fun at the next Fun Friday on October 18th where you can enjoy fun times, meet some of your neighbors, and have a good old time.
SCTA’s Fun Fridays are held on the 3rd Friday of the month from 6pm to 9pm in the Aspen Room, in the lower level of the Brooklyn Sports Club at 1540 Van Siclen Avenue and are free for paid members of SCTA. 2019 membership card must be presented at the time of the event.
