Spring Creek Senior Partners Celebrates Dedication

Spring Creek Senior Partners (SCSP) showed their appreciation to their volunteers by saluting them for their recognition and having a Masquerade Ball Luncheon for them on Friday, April 27th at the Brooklyn Sports Club. This masquerade ball was complete with bright masks and beads for everyone.

Spring Creek Senior Partners has approximately 60 volunteers. These volunteers help with clerical/office work, provide assistance at events, aid with programs, and do so much more to help both the staff of SCSP, and the seniors in the community. This past year alone the volunteers provided 7,856 hours of service to SCSP. They are dedicated, enjoy helping, and working with the staff and members of SCSP.

Each of these volunteers were recognized for their efforts, diligence, and hard work by receiving a certificate of recognition for their commitment to SCSP along with a royal blue sweatshirt with Spring Creek Senior Partners written in white and the SCSP logo on it as a token of appreciation.

This masquerade ball had the volunteers and the staff up on their feet dancing to the beats played by the DJ and to top it all off there was even more entertainment as a magician performed mystical illusions for everyone! This was a real treat for everyone.

“The volunteers are truly an essential part of our team and Spring Creek Senior Partners could not provide the assistance we do and serve the over 1,300 seniors we do each year without the invaluable assistance of our wonderful volunteers. They are truly a treasure and this annual recognition is only a small token of our appreciation that we and the seniors in our community feel,” said Theodora Ziongas, Executive Director of Spring Creek Senior Partners NORC.
