Spring Creek Youth Symphony Hits High Notes For Parents

The Spring Creek Youth Symphony held a mini spring concert on March 22nd, which showed the parents how well the students have been learning to play. With about 25 parents in the audience these performers were ready to shine for their parents. The Spring Creek Youth Symphony consists of students playing the clarinet, saxophone, trumpet, violin, viola, and the drums.

Students enjoy playing the “Spring Creek March” the most and enthusiastically could not wait to play it for their parents.

In addition to the “Spring Creek March,” there were several musical pieces that were performed. Some other classics and favorites that the students played were; “Love Me Tender,” “London Bridge,” and “A Whole New World.” The finale was “The “Hey Song” and it had the audience participating by yelling out “Hey” many times during the song.

“This mini spring concert showcased the progress our young student musicians have achieved during the first six months of the school year. The concert was an extremely satisfying success!” said Mark Thrasher, Spring Creek Youth Symphony Director.
