On April 4th, the Starrett City Girl Scouts (SCGS) donated ten cases of cookies to healthcare workers at New York Presbyterian Hospital and Memorial Sloan Kettering Hospital to thank them for their dedication and hard work to those stricken by COVID-19.
Several of the SCGS troop members have parents who are on the frontlines and are fighting this devastating disease. It was the SCSG’s idea to bring a little sunshine to the healthcare workers.
“We wanted to thank the First Responders for all they are doing and for all that they have done. The girls made cards to go with them,” said SCGS Troop Leader, Pam Schwartz.
